Jørund Fluge Samuelsen started his musical career with the band Trang Fødsel in the late 90s and the band sold a lot of records, toured, and was frequently played on radio and television. After his pop career, he has produced and arranged music for a number of artists in many different genres in his studio “Audioskop”. In addition, he has composed music for television series and commercials. “Alle hater Johan” was his first feature film and has earned him the Amanda Award 2022 for the year’s best original music, as well as the fact that he was the second Norwegian composer in history to win the Harpa Nordic Film Composer Award.
Samuelsen is an associate professor at the Department of Music at Kristiania University College, in addition to working as a composer and music producer at “Audioskop”.
