Trygve Brøske is a versatile musician working as a classical pianist, folk musician, accompanist, as well as being a composer of music spanning a broad field of genres and styles.
His compositions includes music for the stage, ensembles and choirs, as well as symphonic music and songs.
He has composed the music for the norwegian silent movie “Norge vårt Norge” from 1929 for Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, and his fourth opera «Kommandanten» is premiered at Oscarsborg Fortress the summer of 2023.
NTNU
Brøske is working as an associate professor at NTNU. He founded the Stangvikfestivalen and he is in charge of the «Nye Hjorten Konsertserie» in Trondheim.
