Film music at Kosmorama 2025

In collaboration with Kosmorama, Norwegian Film Music, Musikkontoret Tempo, and Trondheim Calling, we have dedicated an afternoon to three different sessions about film music!

On Friday, March 21, we invite you to a dedicated day at Øra Studio in Trondheim, focusing on music in film. With three unique program sessions, this event offers a deep dive into the creative collaboration between directors, composers, and sound designers. Gain insight into how film music is crafted – from concept to final production.

Program:

14:00-14:45 – Kristoffer Lo
Kristoffer Lo has composed and recorded music for several films, with his latest project being the war film Nr. 24. In this presentation, he shares his experiences as a composer.

15:00-15:45 – Julie Skaufel & Kristoffer Lo
Director Julie Skaufel and composer Kristoffer Lo take us behind the scenes of the feature film HEIM, currently in production. This session offers a rare glimpse into the process of developing and integrating music into a film while it is still being made.

16:00-16:45 – André Bratten & Nils Viken
Composers André Bratten (together with Ole Henrik Moe) and sound designer Nils Viken discuss their work on the music and sound design for the documentary Pet Farm, which will have its Trøndelag premiere at Kosmorama.

19:30 –>

After the industry day, we take a short break before gathering for a reception at Prinsen Cinema at 19:30. This is followed by the Trøndelag premiere of Pet Farm and an unforgettable afterparty at Tyven, where André Bratten will take over the DJ booth.
