Nordic Music Film Days are pleased to announce a call for submissions for the 2024 HARPA Nordic Film Composers Award.
Over the past years, HARPA have celebrated talented composers from the five Nordic Countries and listened to their wonderful music. They are continuing this tradition in 2024 to honor excellence in composing. Therefore, they are asking composers working in the Nordic countries and being a member of the national Nordic collecting society to submit their best Film & TV Scores. The composition must be for a narrative feature, documentary, or TV series released between July 21st, 2022, and July 21st, 2023. (The release date stated on the official IMDB page of the submission)
The submission deadline is October 1st.
Last years winner was our own Film Composer Jørund Fluge Samuelsen, and in 2020 Gaute Storaas received HARPA in 2020 for his score on Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms.
Your submission must include the following:
-Full name & contact info of the composer (e-mail & phone number)
-Membership number of the national collecting society
-Link to screener with English subtitles
-Link to the IMDB page of the submission
